Please Welcome Jack Tosone, PGA Professional, as the new Golf Professional & General Manager of the Haystack Golf Club in Wilmington, VT
Bob Rubin, President of Crosslinks, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Tosone as the new Golf Professional & General Manager of the Haystack Golf Club in Wilmington, VT. Tosone will be responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the Desmond Muirhead designed layout.Tosone brings a wealth of experience to his new position at Haystack Golf Club. A 12-year PGA member, Tosone comes to Haystack from Lake St. Catherine Country Club in Poultney, VT where he held the position of General Manager for the last three years. While at Lake St. Catherine, Tosone was instrumental in the development, design, and construction of their new clubhouse and it’s transformation into a full service, year-round operation.
Tosone’s previous golf experience includes positions at North Adams Country Club, Taconic Golf Club and The Gleneagles/Equinox Golf Course, as well as caddying on the PGA Tour. He also holds the unique distinction of being the first outside caddy to ever caddy at Augusta National Golf Club in the 1983 Masters, where he caddied for his college teammate Jim Hallet.
Tosone’s background also includes 14 years working in the hospitality business in various management capacities for Hyatt Hotels, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, The Chatham Bars Inn, and The Equinox Resort.
A native of Barrington, RI, Tosone is a graduate of Bryant University, where he studied Hotel and Restaurant Management and played Varsity Golf. Tosone has made his home in Manchester, VT for the last 12 years with his wife and their two daughters.
